Yoga Nidra is a sanskrit word “Yoga” meaning union/conscious connection to self and “Nidra” meaning sleep. This is a guided meditation practice that is done lying down while we release mental, physical and emotional tensions throughout the body.
Yoga Nidra is a conscious relaxation that provides a deep muscular, emotional and mental relaxation of the body, mind and soul to help you become aware of your inner self and make positive changes in your life.
1 hour of Yoga Nidra is as restful as 4 hours of conventional sleep
This class is done with or without the powerful healing of sound incorporating the crystal bowls and drum throughout the practice.
These classes begin with some gentle yoga to prepare for Yoga Nidra.
What do I bring?
Bring along a blanket, a pillow for under your head (if needed), pillows for under your knees to help relax your lower back.
